What are the learning points from Neeraj Chopra?
#1 Confidence
At an awards event, when asked a question in English, he calmly told the anchor, "Hindi mein pooch lo bhai" (Ask in Hindi, brother), without a hint of embarrassment. While many Pakistani and Indian cricketers have been trolled for their English, none except Rashid Latif ever responded with such honesty. Neeraj doesn’t care about speaking perfect English and is comfortable in his own skin.
#2 Humility and Realism
When asked, “Can you win a medal for India?”
He replied, “Sir, koshish to poore dil se karoonga” (Sir, I’ll try my best).
When questioned about Vetter’s claim of being better than him, he humbly said, “Sir, woh bahut behtereen khiladi hain, 90+ throws bahut kiye hain. Ab sirf muqabla ke din pata chalega” (Sir, he’s a great athlete and has done 90+ throws many times. We’ll know on the competition day).
On the other hand, his friend Shivpal boldly said, “Sure, both of us will win medals,” but didn’t even qualify.
#3 Respect for All Coaches
Some people trolled Neeraj, calling him a "Sanghi" for not acknowledging his first coach, Naseem Ahmed. But later, Naseem himself clarified, saying, “He called me on the 7th and asked, ‘Did you watch TV?’ He thanked me that same day, and so did his father.”

Though Neeraj may be a devout Hindu, he doesn’t mix politics with his actions, despite others trying to create a Hindu-Muslim divide.
