What made you cry today?
My name is Abhiram Krishna.

(📌 This is my story)
I come from a poor family. My father works as a daily wage laborer. Since childhood, I’ve seen him working hard to support us. I realized early on that studying hard is the only way to change our situation.
After completing my +2 in science, I didn’t join college because I knew it would be too expensive. Instead, I decided to prepare for defense and government exams. Many people from my locality have secured government jobs after finishing +2.
I prepared for 1.5 years but failed in all my attempts. I then decided to join a coaching center, hoping it would improve my chances. The fee was ₹7500—not much for some, but for me, it meant taking up part-time jobs to pay. I managed to pay ₹5000. Then, the second wave of COVID-19 hit.
The pandemic brought poverty to my home. My father, being a daily laborer, had no work during lockdowns. To make things worse, my family contracted the virus. The coaching classes shifted online, and they asked me to pay the remaining ₹2000. I told them we were in quarantine and that I would pay once we recovered.
(📌 They didn’t respond to my situation)
Instead of understanding, they excluded me from the classes. They sent the class links to other students but left me out.
(🥺 They stopped sending the class links to me personally)
I tried to keep up by watching the classes and taking notes, but they completely ignored the struggles I was facing. Now, I’m sure I won’t be able to access the classes anymore.
This is the harsh reality faced by many poor students in India.
But I won’t give up.
(💪 You can stop me from joining the classes, but you can’t stop me from preparing for my future.)
If you’ve read this far and can help me with clearing CAT, SSC, Railway, or Defense exams, please message me.
