What is your "I'm not eating that" experience?

Every day, I have the same experience, but I have to eat:

  • Two slices of bread, baked beans, papaya, and a cup of malt.

  • A roll of bread, vegetable stew, and a small packet of butter.

  • An awful croissant with apples and oranges and malt.

  • Egg foo young with mushrooms and ketchup.

I’m not a heart patient (yet) or diabetic, but my wife decided to follow an American dietitian's recipe. For the last 10 months, I’ve been eating the same food, forgetting that Western and Indian tastes are different.

There’s no idli, chutney, sambar, masala dosa, or pooris—not even Maggi noodles!

Sadly, I can’t say, “I’m not eating that,” or it will lead to a huge argument or starvation.

So, unless restaurants open and COVID ends, it’s “I’m not eating that,” but I have to eat it anyway."
